Glen arrived at the Level 4 course with nearly 13 years of experience delivering Level 3 Sports Massage training, so he had a solid foundation going in. But even with that background, what he experienced over those six days genuinely exceeded his expectations.

The course ran across two three-day blocks, with a small, highly focused group of four — all planning to teach at Level 4 level. That made for a really collaborative and engaged learning environment, the kind we try to recreate here at Fettle for our own learners.

One of the things Glen found most valuable was how the course approached assessment. Level 4 goes much deeper into detailed client assessment, ensuring treatments can be properly tailored to the individual — not just the injury. That clinical thinking is now embedded into how we teach.

Interestingly, he also found the coursework at Level 4 more accessible than Level 3 in some respects — largely because it's far more hands-on and practical. For those who learn by doing, that's great news.
